About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to travel and experience what it means to live life in a culture other than my own. I want to experine life to the fullest and strongly believe that to do so, means that I must travel and come to know other people!

ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly person who loves to listen to others. I'm not much of an extrovert, but I do love being around lots of different people. Some activities I like to do for fun include- going to movies, hiking, canoeing, and enjoying good meals with good friends and cherished family. I've never traveled outside of the USA, but I hope to fix that soon!

PHILOSOPHY

One example- I like to listen to other people talk because it's my personal philosophy that by listening to other people talk about how they perceive the world, I will come to a better understanding of the depth of the human experience. Or maybe just learn a couple of fun facts.

Another example- always be suspicious of simple answers to the world's complex problems.

And- I believe that many psychological disorders can be prevented when people are safe, loved, and accepted.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, I'm living in an intentional community, as I'm volunteering, so unfortunately I will be unable to host people. But I would absolutely love to show you around town or give you some insights into what is going on in the city of Seattle, Washington.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As of today, I don't have any experience, but I'm excited to give it a try and hopefully will gain some experience SOON!

Interests

Hiking, studying philosophy and psychology, reading poetry with my friends, taking pictures, meeting new people, running, swimming, and other various activities. I LOVE talking with people about philosophy and psychology and/or just talking to people in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I live with a group of developmentally disabled people, and have come to know them as friends. I think that's pretty amazing...

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm great at cleaning and cooking. Storytelling. Laughing. Can share information on current developments in the field of Psychology.
