About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to share my quirkiness with with others and help others around the world enjoy life with me as much as possible. I want to live within the cultures of other countries and stay as far away from commercial tourism as possible!

ABOUT ME

'Spent the last 8 out of 12 months travelling'

I travelled last year throughout the UK and Europe, and I just returned home from a three month adventure around South East Asia and China.

I am a young woman with a positive outlook on life. I love meeting new people and discovering new things.
I have an extremely unique personality, and I love the differences in life that make people who they are.

PHILOSOPHY

Live in the moment! Enjoy yourself as much as you can, doing whatever you do, and surround yourself with people and things that make you feel your happiest! You don't need to work and slave away to create your life. I strongly believe that your life is created by your experiences, regardless of how many possesions you have or how much money you make. You can have nothing and hold all that is important to you within your heart and mind, not in your hand. People spend too much time worrying about their material possessions that they neglect their emotional desires and feelings.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed all across Europe, I've invited travellers into my home, I've attended meetings and events and made some awesome friends! I want to offer my surfers the best experience of my area. I want to enrich my experience of a culture by surfing overseas.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The compassion and generosity displayed by my hosts and my surfers is admirable and I really hope I can continue giving someone the same level of hospitality when they visit Australia!

Interests

Things that I enjoy include:
Music - From live gigs and shows, huge music festivals, my iPod and all it holds in it's glory, to the DJ's selection down at my favourite club. LOVE MUSIC!
Food - I enjoy all types of food, from all different countries, I will eat almost anything put infront of me! Except for meat.
Art - I appreciate all forms of art, whether it is visual, musical or dramatic. I spent a large amount of my teenage years performing and acting.
I myself enjoy painting and drawing also.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending a sunny afternoon at Sacre Coeur in Paris, sitting on a wall drinking beers, overlooking the entire city. Simple, but so beautiful and relaxing.

MELT! Festival 2011 - dancing around in the pouring rain, soaked in mud, pretending to be a large jellyfish in a poncho whilst dancing to PULP's 'Common People' live at the mainstage.

Climbing to the top of an abandoned communications tower in Berlin and seeing a view of the entire city. Reaching the top room, the sound of myself breathing was amplied so much, such a creepy feeling!

Visiting Auschwitz camps I and II in Poland. Haunting, frightening, eye opening. Enough said.

La Tomatina 2011!!!!!

All the times I have couchsurfed overseas!

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to share with people who I am entirely, and they can choose what they wish to gain from me!
I have alot to give as a person and I want to share my personality and who I am with whoever dares seek me.
