I'm have left the settled life and headed off into the world again, hoping to see as many places as possible, take pictures of them, and write about them. Where I've been and what I've written is mostly found at patronsaintofcheese.blogspot.com

PHILOSOPHY

Karma is real. Positive thinking makes a difference. God is manifested in what we do in this world. Reincarnation is not out of the realm of possibility - it makes as much sense to me as string theory, anyway.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I don't anticipate having a couch of my own to share, I'd like to do what I can to make my hosts' lives more enjoyable while I'm there. I'm an excellent cook.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent most of 2006/2007 living out of my suitcase, either housesitting, staying with family, or couchsurfing with friends. Since 2012 I have minimized my possessions to what will fit into two suitcases and a duffel bag (for bedding), and plan to continue traveling and meeting new people.

Interests

Books, world music (also classical, jazz, techno, pretty much anything but country), cooking, environmental sustainability, cats. And chickens. Oh, and cheese.
