I'm really passionate about silly things, like maps and raspberries. I have found that cream cheese makes almost everything better. I used to spend weekends doing crosswords at coffee shops and weeknights watching cartoons over a few pints at my local, but now I live in the country and just come home and watch nature documentaries from the library. It doesn't take much to get a laugh out of me, and you have to pile on a lot to shock me. In my mind, the world is easy and amazing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One summer in Budapest, on my second day in the city, I took the last bus home in the wrong direction. At a gas station some thirty miles from my destination, past midnight, I found someone who at first thought he was there just to get gas, but turns out he was also there to give me a ride home. I have been forever grateful at this first simple act of kindness from a stranger. It didn't have anything to do with CouchSurfing, and I was a few years away from even hearing about the concept, but I feel as though I am still trying to repay that man for his kindness through any bit of hospitality I can give others.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I have played with lions and tigers in Argentina. I was shown inside two family mausoleums in a historic cemetery in Buenos Aires. I jumped out of an airplane once and intend to do so again. I have seen the sky so full of stars it had run out of black.
