I tried "active" couch surfing for the first time in Sicily: it couldn't have been better!!

Interests

I love outdoor activities (walking, hiking, swimming - great in my area! Biking but not mountain biking :)-), sunbathing (no matter whether at the beach or on mountain meadows). Dancing and singing are my favorite hobbies, rock and jazz concerts any time...! Time at a spa, dinner with friends, a good chat with a glass of wine, real Italian espresso. I wouldn't want to miss natural healing, energy work and spirituality in general; I like to meditate a little almost every day, love to learn about different cultures .... I do little dance therapy workshops for other people and am part of a belly dancing group, sing in choirs and a hobby jazz ensemble... many, many other things

Music, Movies, and Books

Jazz and Rock/Pop, Billy Joel or the Beatles - ALWAYS. Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves in "The house on the lake". Right now, "Mamma mia", the Abba Musical film with Meryl Streep.
"Montalbano" in "Sicilian", "The 1st Lady Detetive Agency" in Botswana in English, countless others, I've always been a passionate reader in all four languages..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Many - like the Isla Iguana close to the Panamanian coast.
The sunrise above the sea every morning in Torremolinos... breath-taking.
When my daughter was born ... although that was some time ago :)-.... many other things

whatever might come the way - I've taught languages since I was a teenager, I do energy work and meditate regularly ...how to grow grapefruit trees by planting their seeds? One of my favourite experiments with plants ...
