ABOUT ME

I’m a very much a people person I love meeting new people finding out about their lives and sharing stories :)
I’ve had couch surfing for many years now it’s travelled with me through lots of different stages at the moment I wouldn’t be able to host anybody as I now live in a shared house with no extra spaces. I’m actually extremely lucky and will be moving to a house that was built in 1810, in the next month! I’m looking to buy my own house within the next few years so hopefully I’ll be able to host again.
Currently I’m working full time for the NHS and it’s quite a mindnumbing experience so I enjoy doing something a bit different on my days off. Yesterday I drove right in the middle of the countryside to find some wild elderflower to pick to make elderflower cordial! It’s now a tradition I’ve done it for quite a few years but every single year I get very excited by it :)
I absolutely love cooking and I love sharing food and learning about other peoples food likes and knowledge. Recently went on a Thai street food cooking course.
I love driving around in the car and finding somewhere new Kent is an amazing county and it literally has a bit of everything! And happy to show anybody around and share what knowledge I have and maybe find some new places :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I got a couch surfing account many years ago I can’t even remember exactly when it was but when I went to Australia I got to experience a beautiful side of Surfing and met many people we never needed to stay anywhere as my friend posted me for the whole four weeks but we went on many outings with people from all over the world I think about surfing is a wonderful idea.

兴趣

During the pandemic I have realised how much I love meeting new people and how difficult it’s been quite isolating. I’m very chatty and love exchanging stories and making new ones. I have a huge love for cooking i’ve got quite into Thai food this year I learnt how to make chicken noodle soup pad Thai noodles spring rolls. Next I’d like to learn how to make sushi 🍱
I really miss the theatre and going to museums I cannot wait until they’re open and ready!

音乐、电影和书籍

Favourite movies have definitely got to be comedy I love anything that’s comedy. I listen to a lot of comedy on the radio. Also fantastic podcast called ‘you are dead to me’ that’s probably my favourite thing at the moment. Watched far too much telly the last year also at the moment I’m watching a thing about mining Jade way more fascinating and calling you think, well I think so lol.

I went up the empire state building at midnight The day before my 21st birthday it was berth taking if a little windy :)
And I drove through The Cheddar Gorge and honestly it’s got to be one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen! Wow highly recommend!
