About Me

I am really curious and I am eager about trying out new things. Also, I love meeting new people.
You can easily have a nice discussion or just a normal chat with me. If you are really into something, the chances are high that I want you to tell me about it. Passion for something really fascinates me.
I'm sometimes getting bored by every days life as a student, so I'm trying to make up for it by going exploring, whenever I have the chance to. My last trips was to Scotland, walking the John 'o Groats trail, together with a friend, camping wild along the way.

I'm studying Computer Science, but that definitely doesn't mean that I'm the typical nerd, you might expect. I'm open minded and into a lot of topics, especially in the fields of sciences and psychology.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As you can see, I'm on this platform already for some time, but I didn't use it yet. I created it for my first ever solo trip to New Zealand, but never felt the urge to use it, as it feels like you get to know so many people over there by just standing around.
Lately I heard many great stories and experiences with Couchsurfing from friends and started to think about it again. When finally my flat mate hosted two awesome guys from South America I realised that Couchsurfing really is the best place to get to know locals and to really interact with the culture. I'm hoping that I can be a part of that.

Music, Movies, and Books

It's hard to give an absolute favourite of either.

I like very different kinds of music, depending on my mood. Sometimes I'm totaly into metal and rock, the other day I'm listening to Soundtrack or Lindsey Stirling (I don't even know how to call that kind of music, haha). Then again for partying I sometimes like Techno or music that really makes you dance.

I love action movies and Jason Bourne used to be my favourite. By now I have watched so many movies and series of all genres, that I can't really tell which one is my favourite.

I used to be massively into all kind of books. I still love them, but found out that I can't really focus on reading while having a stressfull time, so I slowly changed to watching movies instead. Which I find really sad and I'm working on changing that again :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm having a hard time with this one. But I guess it's the fact, that I went on that New Zealand trip on my own, even though I wanted to go with friends originally. I got to know myself and a lot of other people and it helped me feel much more comfortable with myself and shaped my character a lot.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm curious about learning pretty much anything.

I'm not happy with the wording "teaching" as it sounds like I'd be an expert, but I feel too young to consider myself an expert in anything.
On the other hand, I'm quite happy to share any knowledge I have, either language or the favourite dish or my view on the world or whatever else might interest you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Shared time, nice conversations and some international air brought with me ;)
