Hi,

My name is Ella, I’m 27 and I live in France. I grew up in Grenoble and I just finished a three-year contract as a plant biology engineer in Nantes. Now, I'm looking to travel a bit before jumping into a new job.

I'm used to travelling around France and Europe a lot by train, with just one backpack and lots of yarn to knit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Back in 2022, I went on an Interrail adventure across Europe, and I had the most amazing time. I stayed in youth hostels and had a lot of fun, but I did miss interacting with local people to get a more authentic experience of the city. So, I'm planning to try Couchsurfing this year!

I am hoping to get a much fuller experience with tips and advices from host, and I hope to get the real social experience of the way of life of the countries I am visiting. And of course, I'm looking forward to making new friends.

During my trip this summer I have no address in France, so I cannot host for now, but as soon as I am settled again I would love to get to host people to, wherever I end up in France

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Finland for 6 mounts as part of an Erasmus exchange. It was one of the most amazing experience I ever had. I got a chance to really build a life there and made some life long friends
