About Me

Having just graduated from the University of Bristol with a first class bachelors degree in Mathematics (woo can't stop mentioning it sorry) I've decided to get myself some experiences that don't involve being sat at a desk all day.
My boyfriend and I have been travelling around South East Asia for nearly four months now (whaaaat?) and are heading to Australia on 2nd March. I'm so excited but also a little scared at how expensive it's going to be compared to Asia.
We're looking to get jobs working as literally ANYTHING and we both have experience in hospitality, cleaning, temping in offices etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Finding out about events, meeting people, meeting hosts, experiencing new cultures.
Since travelling Asia I've found that so many of the amazing things I've have actually through word of mouth, not from a guide book.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music really - not fussy as long as it not too dreary/screamy.

Not a huge fan of films as I don't have the greatest attention span and don't like sitting down for that long/fall asleep if I sit down for that long. Cinemas are sometimes expensive naps for me oops. So yeah if I watch a film it can't be too hardcore although I have actually made it through all of Lord of the Rings which I considered pretty solid..?
I like a trashy TV show however and have ploughed through quite a few on Netflix.

I like reading but during uni I kind of stopped reading for fun and am only just getting am into it and realising how great it is again. I'm currently reading Glue by Irvine Welsh and the Scottish accents drove me a lil mad at first but now I'm used to it and I'm enjoying it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Motorbiked down Vietnam: I mean this was crazy dangerous and I'd been on a motorbike like twice before I committed to it which seems totally stupid now I look back but it was the best way to see am amazing country and really mix with the locals. It was such an adventure
