ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly, easygoing person who is accepting of difference and loves to hear people's stories. I love gardening, hiking, surfing (or rather getting wasted by waves; ) herbal medicine, learning Spanish, biodynamics, relaxing (maybe a little too much), community initiatives and keeping it real.

I don't really believe in mistakes. My theory is that things happen for me, not to me. So if I break a leg, or spill some milk I like to think its all good, and I just keep on trucking'.. I guess that makes me a bit of a cup half full kind of person.

PHILOSOPHY

It's not really a personal philosophy but the Hawaiian Huna Philosophy comes the closest to how I seem to see and feel about the world....

The seven huna principles are as follows:

ATS Tribal belly dance..... actually dancing of any kind! philosophy, community work, peace building, art, yoga, friendships, love, 'The work' of Byron Katie, ecological gardening, Biodynamics, bushwalking/hiking,kyaking (in rivers!) swimming, (trying to) surf! camping, sharing meals, learning and finding new interests!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books like the Holographic Universe and The Secret Life of Plants and am inspired by Maria Thun and Peter Proctor and their efforts in advancing knowledge about Biodynamic practice. And Byron Katie! Great stuff!

Love Sci fi, things like the Matrix and Battlestar Galactica, but also a bit of laugh too.... british tele gems The Mighty Boosh and Blacks Books are a riot.

I love music too, almost all of it from cheesy pop to obscure piano pieces, and all the grinding electro, hip hop, dub, retro, folk and disco, and whatever else in between!

Teach, Learn, Share

Happy to share in the self inquiry process called 'the work' that has the potential to move us out of our suffering or stress - it can be really funny too! Also fire twirling (with poi - though its been while!) belly dancing (tribal style), spanish (though its been awhile also!, english, biodynamics, gardening. I love to learn too, with an interest in so much, listing it all here is futile.....
