ABOUT ME

I am so excited at the prospect of seeing the world and meeting new people! I am a fairly laid back person, considerate and open minded. I have lived in share houses my whole life, I was brought up by a single mum and taught to respect peoples space and their ways of living. I was born in Hobart, Tasmania and then moved to Mainland Australia and spent 5 years in Alice Springs going to school and traveling around Australia and Bali, with family and friends. All I've wanted since returning from that short stint overseas years ago is to continue exploring. The thing that gets me through my time here is preparing for what is to come, saving, talking and culling my belongings!! I have just moved back to Alice Sorings and started working for a not for profit arts organisation that organises the Alice Springs festival among other things.

PHILOSOPHY

If you're not waking up excited for the day ahead, you have to make a change.

The hardest decisions I have had to make have ended up with the best results, sticking with something just for security or comfort is not reason to stay, change, liberate yourself and flourish.

Interests

I appreciate enthusiasm in people, encouragement. I like to observe these things. I am inspired by people who live their dreams, who create artwork for the sake of it. people who use their hands, music, people who play music, people who share knowledge.
I play the Ukulele and sing, i downsized from the guitar to the uke after years of trying to stretch my fingers over the fretboard and failing. I love to dance and drink tea. Tea is a life source. I work at a cafe/restaurant by night and love getting paid to hang out with friends at work. I love animals for the love that they give, I love a good laugh with anyone, anytime. It's the best medicine after all!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Attending the Circus festival in the beautiful Golconda wilderness in Tasmania seeing Gordo Gamsby hanging by his ankles with four meat hooks in his back with straps attached, Ben lewis then climbed straps attached to the hooks and was suspended from Gamsby's back. I have never screamed so loud with applause. Actually, the whole Circus festival is just amazing, it's a Bi annual event, check it out!

The MONA art museum the first time I went, i was fresh out of Year 12. As i approached the museum on the ferry, i felt like James Bond approaching an evil lair, upon entering, i proceeded to run around squealing in delight at the amazing structure of the place and the artworks inside.
