Overview
About Me
I'm a girl from Afghanistan. I want to know more about foreign people and want to improve my English skills
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m here to meet new people, make friends from other countries, and improve my English. I also want to share Afghan culture with travelers and help them feel welcome in Kabul. Couchsurfing is a great way to learn and grow through real connections.
Interests
I'm passionate about learning, especially when it comes to languages and psychology. I love reading and writing — they help me understand myself and the world better. Journaling is something I do almost every day to clear my thoughts and reflect.
I really enjoy having deep conversations with people, especially when we talk about life, culture, dreams, and personal experiences. I find it beautiful how much we can learn from each other, even in small moments.
In my free time, I like watching documentaries, especially those related to real-life stories, education, and mental health. I also enjoy listening to music that touches the soul and walking in nature when I get the chance.
Connecting with people from different backgrounds inspires me. That’s why Couchsurfing feels like the perfect place for me.
Music, Movies, and Books
🎵 Music:
I enjoy soulful and meaningful music. I especially love Afghan music like Dawood Sarkhosh, and sometimes I listen to calm international songs in English that help me focus or relax.
📚 Books:
I enjoy reading books about psychology, self-development, and real-life stories. One of my favorite books is *The Power of Now* by Eckhart Tolle. I also like books that make me think deeply or inspire personal growth.
🎬 Movies:
I like documentaries and movies based on true stories. I also enjoy films that show different cultures and emotions, especially when they have a strong message. Some of my favorites are *The Kite Runner*, *A Beautiful Mind*, and *Inside Out*.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I’ve seen was a stranger helping a child without expecting anything in return. It showed me how powerful kindness can be. Even small acts can make a big difference.
Teach, Learn, Share
🧠 Teach:
I can help you practice English or Dari, and I’d be happy to teach you about Afghan culture, hospitality, and everyday life in Kabul. I also enjoy sharing what I know about journaling and self-reflection.
📚 Learn:
I’d love to learn more about other cultures, languages, travel stories, and different ways of thinking. I’m always open to learning anything new — whether it’s a life lesson, a recipe, or just how someone lives their daily life in another part of the world.
🤝 Share:
I can share my time, stories, food, and a quiet and respectful home environment. I believe kindness, honesty, and deep connection are the best things we can share as human beings.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer kindness, respect, and help.
I’m clean, friendly, and love good conversations. I can teach you some Dari or English and share Afghan culture. Maybe even cook something simple!
