Well hey! My name is Elle and I'm from Australia. I've been traveling Europe for the past year but back on the Gold Coast where I am originally from.

My travel style is a little different than others. I usually like to stay in one spot for a while to be able to feel the authenticity and culture, to be engulfed in what it would feel like to live there. Couch surfing with a new friend for a few days in between my travels is an incredible opportunity to get to know the area like a local.

I love exploring, camping, getting lost and listening to the stories of the people I meet. I am currently writing a book and wandering around looking for inspiration. I adore being around people who are slightly spiritual (not meaning religious) and agree that there is a whole lot more to life than what it seems. I get along better with people who can laugh at themselves.

I love red wine, when people say thank you when you stop to let them cross the stress/open a door, looking at the stars, laughing till my face cramps, patting other peoples dogs, the feeling of grass under my feet and experiencing moments that I stop and soak it in, taking a mental snap shot.

Favourite overall author would have to be Paulo Coelho. I love all music; rock when I'm at home cleaning, jazz/classical when I'm in a cosy bar, Indie when I'm feeling emotional or rnb when I'm dancing in the shower feeling like Beyonce.
