About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See as much of the world as I can, and try not to worry too much!

ABOUT ME

I was born in Australia and grew up in a small town on the beach. It is amazingly beautiful there, but right now I'm wanting to see more of the world.

I moved to Germany after doing an Au Pair year here in 2013-14, and plan on staying here for a few more years at least. I want to do as much travelling around Europe as I can while I'm here, improve my German, learn a few things, meet some new people along the way. .

I'm also up for hosting, though I don't have a lot of time when I am at home (I mainly travel on my holidays) Basically I'm living at the moment in a boarding school in an old (small) castle near the Bodensee. It's in the middle of nowhere, very isolated, but also insanely beautiful. It's like a little community here in the school.. So on my free days I like to get away and see what's happening in the 'real world'. It's really nice seeing new faces so if you'd like to come and stay just send me a message. I can show you around the area, especially the Bodensee! It's nice even in winter.

I studied art and I guess that's my passion, though I don't get time to draw as much anymore! I'm also history obsessed (20th c mainly) and for that reason my next big travel destination is hopefully Vietnam/Cambodia or Cuba.

I like hearing stories about your life, how you grew up, what you value. I'm pretty sure it's different to how I grew up!

I like warm weather and good memories.

I love cats (though I'm no crazy cat lady!)

Of course I have dislikes too, but well that's not really important right now.

Other than that, I'm pretty easygoing so ask me anything you want!

Also I can speak German, conversationally quite well. I'm just not fluent, but I like the learning process (as frustrating as it is sometimes).

PHILOSOPHY

Try and be happy, and grateful for what you have.
