I am a writer, editor, explorer, and seeker. I was born and raised in Minnesota but have traveled extensively--around the United States as well as Europe. I have an older sister, younger brother, and a large extended family that leaves nearby. I work for a magazine and am also a freelance writer. I lived for 5 months with a host family in Toledo, Spain, and consider myself bilingual (although a bit rusty). I enjoy getting off the beaten path, writing while riding on trains, road trips, good food, good drink, and good people. Conversation fuels me. I want to see as much of the world as possible.
