My name is Ellen, I'm a 23-year-old brazilian Aupair living in the Netherlands, former English teacher, and graduated in Cinema. I guess just this first sentence describes me pretty well. I'm an extremely curious and adventurous person. I love meeting new people, new countries, learning new languages and traditions from different cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe couchsurfing is the best way to get to do what I love the most: meet new people and a new language and culture. When I travel I don't like to just pass by places, I wanna submerge and feel part of it while I'm there. I wanna get the full experience!

I love all kinds of arts in general. Music, movies, TV shows, books, painting, drawing etc.
And I don't have a favorite type of music, or band, or movie or book. Because it all depends on my mood and I'm always open to new things.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I've worked as a teacher for a year and a half and although my main job was to teach English, I've always loved sharing experiences and cultural facts with students, and I always tried to make it a sharing experience so I've also learned a lot with them.
