Hey guys!
My name is Ellen and I'm from Germany. After I finished school in June 2014, I knew I wanna travel a few countries before I start with my studies.
I was a volunteer in an australian recreation camp for the last 6 months.
My next aim in 2015 is travelling to New Zealand to see and experience one more country in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on cs, because I want to get in contact with local people, who can tell me much more about there countrie then information centres or a brochure in a hostel can ever tell me. And in the end I want to improve my english language skills.

Interests

I'm intrested in many sports. Playing volleyball, skiing, swiming, cycling and I just started with skateboarding.
I also like to cook, watch movies, hear music and catch up with my friends to go out or just have a potluck-brunch or dinner with them.
I play the piano since I was a child and love to read books, but do it rarely. But who doesn't know the feeling when you think you could read a book, but you're too lazy to wait till you get to the exciting parts in the book and *ziiip* the TV is on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To tell you one amazing thing I've done, I won't tell you something about the differnet countries I've been to or what I've seen there, because everything was pretty amazing, that's what I love about traveling!
Instead of that my 6 months as a volunteer in a recreation camp in Australia were awesome! I worked with kids, made friends and I had 6 months of fun time at work with the different offer of activities like archery, giant&swing or canoeing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to cook easy but really yummi meals or you just lean back and I cook one time for you.
I'm happy to learn more about the country I travel to and the people who join my trip.
I can also share my experience about the countries I traveled to, if you plan to visit some of the countries where I already was and wanna have some reviews about it.
If you have skills in skateboarding or playing volleyball, I would love to do it with you!
