About Me
Hello :) as most of you lovely open minded vibrant beings on here I share a tremendous amount of curiosity for the the world that we live in and our experience in it! I love to travel, to learn, to grow and to share in this magic. It is truly amazing to meet new people as there is always something we can learn from eachother, in our effort to make this world a healthier and happen place to thrive. At this time in my life I'm looking to gain experiences and skills as I get acquainted with what way I am best suited to help others. I am very friendly and easy to get along with, helpful, tidy and innovative. I have a real lust for life and love a good laugh! .
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new, interesting and open people who have knowledge of the area and experiences to share or enjoy together. To learn and to make new friends :)
Interests
My interests include travel, music, art, food, diving, hiking, dancing, history, culture, learning something new and being spontaneous, nature, medicinal plants and natural medicine, holistic health, energy healing, psychology, philosophy, culture, poetry, permaculture, ancient wisdom and practice - and basically anything I am unfamiliar with, so there is a lot of space for learning! Meditation changed my life and I enjoy to practice yoga too .. I am a certified Hatha Yoga teacher so we can practice together. Things I want to develop in my life at the moment are; learning languages, learning to live more sustainably, creative writing, playing music, laughing, healing, and loving unconditionally.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love jazz, funk, blues, all reggae and roots music, folk, rock, world music. African, Latino and Indian rythms. Classical and experimental, old and new .. most music really! I am currently reading 'Stalking the Wild Pendulum' .. Favourite all time books are 'The Man Who Planted Trees' by Jean Giono, 'The Prophet' by Kahlil Gibran and 'Jitterbug Perfume' by Tom Robinson. I love a good documentary me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I volunteered on a live aboard dive boat on the Great Barrier Reef once which was a total feast for the eyes from witnessing the majesty of the underwater world from day to night, then the uninterrupted and unpolluted view of the stars out on the ocean. Experiencing bioluminescence in Thailand was true magic also, swimming out to sea in the pitch black whilst every movement you made created sparks of light and illumination, light erupting as the waves crashed.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am always enthisiastic to learn new things! I would love to learn about permaculture, sustainable building techniques and living! Ancestral teachings. I am currently learning to juggle and play the guitar and didgeridoo. I have started to learn to macramae and would like to learn to crochet too. I can teach you how to ferment certain foods to make things like sauerkraut and apple cider/fruit vinager. I know a little about herbal medicine. I can share my experiences in practicing mindfulness and manifestation. Simply to share in a good time really.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a respectful and helpful guest who is interested in musings of our experience in life and how we can make the best of it. I'm not a bad cook either. I have plenty of smiles and interesting conversation to share too.
