Currently traveling with Victoria, a friend I met while studying in Morocco two years ago. We both graduated from university this year, and we're excited to travel together again!

Ellen:
I come from the Silicon Valley and just started a new job in marketing. I'm going to be working remotely throughout this trip to help fund my adventures and stay on track! I enjoy swimming, surfing, hiking, slacklining, and cheese. I also love cooking and learning how to use local ingredients. I'd love to learn your signature dish or help cook a dinner we can all share!

Victoria:
After finishing university in Chicago, I decided to take a break before pursuing a master's and see Europe for the first time... on my student library job savings. My passion is social partner dancing (fusion blues, zouk, bachata preferred) and it's a wonderful way to connect with people while traveling. I also enjoy secondhand bookstores, being outdoors, and feeding stray cats.

We're a good travel team because we both like to stay open-minded, flexible, and adventurous in new places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Both of us enjoy getting to know cities and their people on a more personal level, so we're hoping to be able to find some meaningful connections and lasting friends. Couchsurfing seems like a great way to meet local people (as opposed to other tourists in a hostel).

We're pretty low maintenance travelers, but we'd love to spend time with our hosts if they're down!

Ellen can teach you how to surf and cook various dishes.
