ABOUT ME

My name is Ellen I'm 19 years old and I live in Galway at the moment.
In this summer I have got my Leaving Cert and before I start to study and decide an education I want to work in Ireland for a few mounth.

In my opinion it´s the best experience for me to work with animals especially with horses because I grew up with them and we have our own horses in our
back yard.
I have been riding for 16 years (on my own pony for a start, and now on a
Trakehner mare called Helena). So I know how to handle ponies and horses,
and it's no problem for me to get my hands dirty either. Cleaning stables or
yards is no unknown territory for me.

Besides horses, my family have a number of other animals. For examlpe dogs,
cats and rabbits.
Furthermore, I consider working with children in my future career. I have
already gathered some leadership skills while working as a trainer in our
athletic club, and I am a youth director in a leisure shooting club.

Moreover it's a great incentive to improve my English and learn something
about the Irish culture.
