ABOUT ME

Hey!
I have grown up in different place in the world (Canada, US, Turkey, Dubai and England), so I guess you can call me an international kid. :P I love to experience new cultures and meeting new people, which is why I wanted to join coachsurfing to find people who share this passion.

I work as a teacher at a secondary school where I teach English and Social Sciences. I love working with kids and I feel so lucky to be able to combine my passion for teaching with meeting people from around the world.

If I had to describe myself it would have to be as follows:
Unique, creative, warm, enthisiastic, honest and generous. Some might find me a little random since I like to do things that are a little unexpected. Meeting new people is always fun and I have to admitt I am a little shy at first. Once I get to know you a little I am super open and talk a lot :P

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing in Sandefjord, but I have previously hosted in Bergen. I really enjoyed hanging out with the people who are passing through, either they are staying with me or other places in town.

Interests

Traveling would have to be my nr.1 interest.
Getting to know new people is something I really enjoy; finding out what makes a person unique and all the things they have experienced is always interesting.

Other interests:
Singing, baking/cooking, literature, boardgames, dance, theatre, and pub quizzes.

Music, Movies, and Books

Since I studied English literature in Uni I have alot of favourite books and I am also a movie-freak in that I watch a LOT of movies. I'll try to limit myself to top three :)

Movies: Cruel Intentions, Pride and Prejudice (BBC), Dogma.

Tv: Sherlock, Tudors, Game of Thrones.

Music: Moddi, Tegan and Sara, and Ellie Goulding.

Books: Harry Potter, Remainder, The Monk
