I have an ear for various music styles. I love to go to live music shows/festivals, intimate or crowded. My main tunes consist of alternative, indie, folk, and world music (such as African). Some movie preferences: Last of the Mohicans, Amalie, Spirited Away, Fight Club, Ferris Beuller's Day Off. Authors: Fyodor Dostoevsky, Henri Michaux, Graham Greene, Samuel Shellabarger, Jane Austin, Etty Hillesum, Richard Wurmbrand, Søren Kierkegaard, and well, just a whole bunch more.

Major trips: Paris France, New York City, Hawaii Big Island, Puerto Rico San Juan and some nearby islands, road trips to California and surrounding western US states. Fun activities experienced: cruise, zip-lining, river rafting, untethered rock climbing. I have been to the summit of Mt. St. Helens in WA state and would like a chance to do the same with Mt. Adams and Mt. Rainier.
I would love to see a sunset in Morocco. In fact, the continent of Africa thrills me. Something of a frontier for me since I was a wee one.
