ABOUT ME

I have just graduated from university in Hong Kong obtaining a bachelor’s degree in textiles. I like to keep my goals short and achievable. My short-term goal is to pursue a sense of achievement by giving 100% to everything I do and enjoy every minute of it. I have an easygoing personality; I can be fun when hanging out with friends and family and be serious when I work. I am an animal lover and that’s why I have two dogs living with me. (Maltese named BB, and an adopted top poodle named MJ (Moka Junior)) I love traveling and experiencing local cultures, but I make sure that my dogs and my family is taken care of before I leave. Two years ago, I went to Sri Lanka as a volunteer and it was an amazing experience. I learnt valuable things and one of the biggest things I’ve learnt was I can only give so little, but in return, the people I was serving placed so much effort in welcoming our team every time we visit. I would go again if I haven’t found a job right after my study. I have experienced local cultures in Sri Lanka and I know how awesome that feels because these experiences just make the trip 100 times more meaningful compared to visiting tourist sights. I’d host for visitors if I can, but unfortunately, I am still living with my family. Although hosting at the moment is not possible, I’d be happy to take visitors to experience the local culture of Hong Kong!! By means of experiencing the local culture of Hong Kong, it generally means EAT. Because Hong Kong is known to be a paradise of foooood~~~ ^_^

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I didn’t know such innovative website existed until a few days ago. However, I did had a couchsurfing experience in Taiwan once, and my host and I have become friends ever since. I would really look forward to search for hosts on couchsurfing in the future when I travel!! Can’t wait to meet you guys!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkelling in Taiwan: As an animal lover, seeing fishes under the sea without any distance restriction was already amazing, but seeing a sea turtle that's around 1m long that swam right past me in the most graceful way was breath-taking!!! (coach told me that this was very rare)
