I guess you could say I'm bicultural, a Swede that grew up American and eventually studied in Rome, Italy for a BA in Political Science. These days I'm a graduate student at Uppsala University. I'm a very relaxed and easy going person with a good sense of humor and a variety of interests.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too much to enumerate. Literature wise I love Kurt Vonnegut, Neil Gaiman, Haruki Murakami, and JK Rowling, of course. I like the Beatles, Marina and the Diamonds, Chvrches, Florence and the Machine, and more or less anything interesting to the ears. As for film, I love all things Wes Anderson. I also love deep films like The Waking Life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn about the cultures I visit from the people who live them, see what's worth seeing, eat and drink well, and learn a thing or two about local customs. Some expletive language is also fun. I can really only offer my story and a drink if you're up for it! I might end up teaching you something totally by accident :)
