I am a nanny in Portland, Oregon as well as a counseling student. I always have a desire to travel and I am dedicated to making one large trip every year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a nanny and a student, so I don't make a lot of money, to be able to travel I need to try to find the least expensive flights and affordable accommodations.
In addition to that reason, I don't like being served and staying in hotels, I enjoy meeting new people and actually getting to know them. When I am traveling to a different country I want to truly experience that country as much as I can in such a short amount of time, you can't do that in some ritzy fancy hotel.
I have been hosted and I have also hosted others in my home, I just haven't done it through this which is why I don't have any praise on here! I have gotten hosts through meet ups before and well, though, which has been great. To ensure that I am not a psycho, feel free to find me on Facebook!

I love most genres of music; when my music is on shuffle mode it can be pretty chaotic.
I love non-fiction books that discuss neuropsychological and sociological concepts. I love Oliver Sacks especially.
My favorite movie is Everything Is Illuminated.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved a child from a burning house... so if your house catches on fire while I am staying with you I have your back.
