Hello!

I am traveling simply because I love to meet and spend time with people, and learn new perspectives and cultures around the world. I am not that interested in sightseeing or 'checklist tourism'. I am really passionate about trying to understand the history, culture, and language--the PEOPLE!--of places I visit. So even though I've been traveling for a while, I haven't used Couchsurfing as much because I typically like to spend a longer time in one place through long-term volunteering exchange.

I am an energetic and enthusiastic person, driven by curiosity and open mindedness. I love to be in the outdoors, and especially the mountains. I also love to cook and bake bread. I am always looking to exchange and learn about cooking in different cultures. I think cooking and sharing a meal together is one of the best ways to connect with people.

I always say to myself, 'surround yourself by people who inspire you'.
I am here to meet interesting and kind people. I also really believe in human experiences and interactions that do not involve the exchange of money. So, I hope I can share something with you too, whether it is help, cultural exchange, or some laughter.

I love to read and am always looking for book suggestions. I am especially interested in historical fiction as a way to learn something through peoples' stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having the opportunity to travel has been really incredible. Meeting people and exchanging stories, passions, experiences, culture, and beliefs is invaluable. I hope to be able to have these kinds of interactions with people for the rest of my life.
