About Me
**** Travelling March 29-May 10 ****
I spend most of my waking hours doing food related work, running a pop up in Boston called Pamangan (http://facebook.com/pamanganboston) and working with Olio Culinary Collective (http://olioboston.com).
I would say I'm pretty politically and socially engaged, though I would identify as an introvert... that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the value of community!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surf, host, etcetera. Especially etcetera.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been homeless more times than my upper middle class background would have you assume. Couchsurfing is great, especially when it lands you in homes with warm, interesting and interested people. The longest running time I've spent couchsurfing is close to three months. And while I didn't meet too many new people during that period, I did learn that this life is overflowing with love. Pay it forward, I say.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like earthy and uncomplicated things, with just a touch of magic. Everything Is Illuminated, Sigur Ros, Haruki Murakami. The Secret of Kells, Mirah, Salman Rushdie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wading in the most serene meeting of land and sea, the mangrove forests of the Philippines.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you useless phrases in Kapampangan. I can show you how to darn a sock, to use a lathe and to make a good apricot crisp.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Places to eat
Things to see
People to meet
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico, Philippines
