I've been traveling since I was old enough to toddle about.
My parents flew and moved us to America and I've driven across it, lived on the east and west coasts. I've even spent a year right in the middle, Missouri.
I really want OUT of america. I just got my citizenship so now that I can travel, I'm going to as much as possible! :)
Update~ I'm out of America! and in New Zealand. Unfortunately I'm living a dorm so no hosting for awhile.
I put it in my interests oops ha.
Ama et fac quod vis.
LOVE and do whatever you wish :]
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I had some great CS experiences this summer, and then I was accepted into veterinary school. Come visit me in 2o12 in NEW ZEALAND :D I cannot wait.
Until then, I cant host anyone at my parents home, and I had to give up my apartment so I'll be mostly a traveller.
Lil ol Delaware isn't ridiculously active in the CS world. We do have have some awesome members and the occasional traveler. I'm trying to become the latter and get oouutt of delaware for awhile myself. I'm also sadly underage so I still can't go to many of the awesome get-togethers people plan in the philly/b-more/del area. But enough about what I CANT do, I can be a great host if you need me to, or a tour guide (not much to see though) and I can possibly even swing a horse ride if you want one! -update: I cant host, but if you're in the Bethany Beach area and would like a trail ride, feel free to hit me up!
I'll be back in the states hopefully in June for a few weeks, I might be able to help out surfers then, if needed. Otherwise, if you're in Palmie (New Zealand) and want to get a cup of coffee or something message me!
Spring break I crashed at the friend of a friend's house in Kentucky. Her home ended up being on the huge equine facility owned by an Arab Shiq! It was the coolest/nicest horse facility I've ever seen.
I finally couchsurfed for the first time! My host Deborah was amazing. Another local CSer volunteered to spend a day showing us (there was another traveler with me) around for a day. Philly is filled with friendly people, and amazing CSers. My second night I was taken to a CS house party. The people were welcoming, the conversation was easy. The trip was great and I can't wait to do it again.
I love horses.
I love reading.
I'm studying to be a veterinarian and I've got a LONG time to go.-not as long as thought :) 5 years!
I love adventures and I'm always game for a new one.
My motto:Ama et fac quod vis. means LOVE and do whatever you wish.
Music, Movies, and Books
Catch-22 is my favorite book :)
BUT i also love hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, Terry Pratchett, Robert Sanderson, Tamora Peirce, Star Wars, He's just not that into you, every kind of music ever created, I just have to be in the right mood for a specific genre.
I just found a cheap lefty guitar and I've picked playing again :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Took an afternoon trick riding course, got to hang off the side of the saddle while galloping full on and had to jump back into the saddle.
pick any view in NZ, they're all gorgeous and worth the time and effort it takes to visit.
Teach, Learn, Share
I just want to learn about the cultures and places of where I'm going. I'll share mine to whoever wants to visit too.
