COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are new to the CouchSurfing community. In the past, Ellie has informally couch surfed through her ultimate frisbee travels, and she has deeply appreciated the instant bond with others.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

For music we enjoy going out to see local bands, as well a jam session with friends. Bigger acts like Ben Harper, Lissie, Swell Season, Black Keys, Avett Brothers. During the last few months on the Big Island we have been enjoying Medicine for the People.

For reads, the best books are those highly recommended by others. Recently a Bill McKibben book really opened our eyes. Two of our favorite literary magazines are Orion and The Sun.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

We are amazed by serendipitous encounters that reconnect us with old friends in new places! Another was meeting Jesse's cousin for the first time, in the middle of the Utah desert, about to climb a route together, and realizing, through our dog's last name on her name tag, that they were in fact cousins, with the same Uncle.

Ellie can knit, Jesse can hammer.
Ellie can code, Jesse can borescope.
Ellie can pedal, Jesse can belay.
Ellie can laugh, Jesse can cry.
They are really good at giving their dog belly rubs!
