ABOUT ME

I’m Ellie from Taiwan, have been to Britain for working holiday, and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!! The wonderful experience of living abroad changes me a lot! I’ve started learning German, French, and class guitar since I returned from Britain. Furthermore, for starting a new career, I left my job and participate in a job training course for Visual Communication Design. Every day I learn something new, and I really the life I’m having now.
I’m going to travel Germany and England for a month after I finish the training course, and I’m so excited to travel Europe again!! For me, traveling is definitely the best to refresh and restart :D

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Rather than travel like a tourist, I like to meet new people, make new friends. And it would be fantastic if I could live like a local even just few days haha.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was so lucky because I always met awesome hosts. They were very nice to me, treated me like a friend not a guest, even we’ve just met. It surprised me a lot, and inspired me to do something for travellers who visit Taiwan.
I think couchsurfing is a great community because it helps people to spread positive energy, have more connections with lovely people and the world!

Working holiday is the most crazy, amazing and gorgeous thing I have done. And Couchsurfing is fantastic too!!

Chinese culture is quite interesting, extensive and profound, including the cuisine of foods, Traditional Chinese characters, and so on. Hence, I can introduce the culture, and share the roughly differences between Eastern and Western with you.
Besides, I am highly interested in the local lives and strongly hope can be involved in it, rather than travel like a tourist. That’s why I want to experience the couchsurfing.

我可以与沙发主分享些什么

Although I'm not a chef, but I would definitely love to cook something for my host if you want to try Chinese food :) I can teach you some Chinese if you're interested in it. Sharing lovely or impressive stories with you to refresh the usual life (I hope so haha). Sharing some amazing countries or places I was traveling, and recommending you visit the place some day. Or I can send you postcard when I travel somewhere :D
