About Me
Hello. I'm sociable enough sociology undergrad at Glasgow. I'm born and grew up in Sweden, but I've also lived and studied in the US (Villanova, PA) for one year and am currently living in Glasgow! I love meeting new people and chatting about life and stuff - travelling being a great for that...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Two of my close friends (Esther and Natasha) and I are currently travelling across the Balkans - we’ve covered Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina so far. It’s been amazing so far, we’re blown away by the whole region. The people we’ve met have been great, the food awesome and the chat’s even better. None of us have used Couchsurfing before, so looking for good firsts experiences! :)
Interests
I’m volunteer for Amnesty International - this year I’ll be the chairperson of our uni’s Amnesty branch. I like talking about politics and life and stuff, especially over a glass of wine or five. When I get to sad about the state of the world I like to read (currently reading Virginia Wolf), go walking, occassonally running, cook good veggie food and drink coffee.

Music, Movies, and Books
Difficult one. I’m reading a biography about Marx now, it’s cool. All time faves are always Harry Potter (3rd), remains of the day (Ishiguro) and the bird chronicles (Murakami).
To be honest, I’m not big into films. The Incredibles is still my favourite. Loved the 2nd one as well.
Music - I like jazz, reggae, cheesy disco, general 60s pop rock. Depends on my mood, but I like most tunes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I cycled across Norway, the wrong way.
