Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and exploring new places. :) Travel is even better when I meet interesting people and get to experience a local perspective. I can't wait to meet you!

Interests

I love being active, especially when I can explore nature. Hiking, camping, yoga, surfing -- you name it, I'm game! Even in cities, I'd almost always rather walk than drive or take a bus.

I also do a lot of cooking and baking. I really appreciate good quality food and ingredients, and I've been lucky enough to grow my own food in the past.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading, especially fiction and scifi. I like a wide variety of music -- mostly indie and electronic music lately, with a smattering of country classics and vintage rock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survived hiking the Snowman Trek in Bhutan! I was so fortunate to spend three weeks exploring a beautiful country, and meeting the most amazing people. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I think everybody has value and something to teach. I can always be learning new things -- even skills I know well! I want to always be learning about new places, meeting people, and trying new foods.
