My references probably speak greater volumes about me than I could ever write, as well as the difficulty of not fitting neatly into boxes to describe myself! However, I like to view myself as an old-school English gentleman who playfully lives up to all the (good!) stereotypes about England: yes, I love wearing tweed; I say 'please' and 'thank you' far too much; people assume I'm rather posh; I'm ironic to a fault; and of course I talk about the weather every day!

I want more from travelling than just sun, sand and sea and I'm more interested in living and breathing a place as opposed to doing the usual tourist traps. I am lucky enough in that I can afford to travel and rent on Air Bnb so I will not be viewing this site as a hostel service.

I love meeting new people and sharing experiences so if you fancy showing me your city, taking a random trip together or going for a meal then drop me a message!

At a local level, I enjoy organising big CS events and bringing Nottingham's couchsurfing community together.
