I live in Spain with my wife and our cat!
I teach History in an English school. Obviously, I love history so anyone who can help share some local history would definitely be a win win! I love food and eating new dishes so anyone willing to introduce me to some local cuisine would be amazing as well. Ultimately though, this experience is about being part of the international community and making new friendships and perhaps one day I can return the favour and offer a bed at our flat near the sea in the Barcelona region.

I am very outdoorsy and I am looking to use couchsurfing to help me on a trip across Europe.

I'm looking to travel eco friendly and on a budget from Barcelona to Amsterdam and back again. So I'm looking to use my bicycle and trains to do this. On a budget means no hotels. On a bicycle means no tent. Having a bed to sleep on would be a game changer. I am low maintenance, can leave the bike on the street and will typically be there for the evening and out early on the bike the next day.

I'm looking to cycle (and use trains) around Europe for a week. From Barcelona to Cologne (train) Cologne to Amsterdam (cycle). Amsterdam - Toulouse (Train). Toulouse- Carcassonne (Cycle). Carcassonne-Narbonne (cycle). Narbonne-Girona (train). Girona-Barcelona (cycle).
