I'm into a bit of everything! I a study hard, play harder :D I'm really outdoors kinda person - massively into surfing and kitesufing, just started diving in Indonesia aswell. I also play football, tennis, hockey plus the swimming and running for fitness. And the occasional snowboard or cycling trip!... yeh, I don't really stop

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Only just getting started in the with the whole couch surfing thing so I'm gonna go with enthusiastically!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None. But I'm fairly well travelled and get on with everyone so thought it could be fun!

Interests

EVERYTHING. All sports (surfing, kitesurfing, diving, tennis, football, hockey, swimming, running). I read loads - normally stick to non-fiction; stories are even more amazing when you know they're real. Stuff like popular science books (not as geeky as it sounds, if you don't read that genre), history books, and dystopian novels like Orwell, Huxley, Wells. + all the Man Booker Prize winners (love 'em!). I'm pretty into photography - an enthusiastic amateur.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love all music with energy to it - not a fan of pop or chill out. Favourite bands are stuff like Pendulum, Chase and Status and My Chemical Romance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunrise from the top of the active volcano Mt. Merapi on Java, Indonesia. Climbed up entirely on my own through the night so it would just be me and the sunrise, no noise, no distractions. Saw a wild musang, kept my torch on it so it couldn't see me, came within about 5 metres of me. Absolutely incredible!

Teach, Learn, Share

I think the main thing I have to offer is best summed up by one of the guys I met in Indonesia "Whenever we go anywhere with you we always end somewhere crazy because you never have the common sense to turn back. It's fun, but I'm not sure I like it."
