About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new people, have fun, and laugh as much as possible

ABOUT ME

I love to make new friends and see new places. This is my first time to Europe. I am studying in Córdoba, Spain and it is absolutely amazing. I can't imagine being anywhere else in the world. I think couchsurfing is an amazing way to make friends all around the world and have fun/feel comfortable doing so. I love to swim, surf, and play in the sand. My favorite place above all is the ocean or a pool. I am on the swim team at UC Santa Cruz and basically need to be immersed in water to function correctly!
At UC Santa Cruz my major is Anthropology and minor is Education. When I graduate I plan on becoming an elementary school teacher either in the states or in Spain. I love kids because they are always full of energy and they make me happy!

PHILOSOPHY

My mind is constantly changing so it is very difficult to answer these questions! Right now I am living my life because I want to have fun, make new friends, and see as much as I can. I try not to think about the future too much. Living in the moment is very important to me right now. What I do know is that life is precious and the best thing to do is help people, have as much fun as possible, learn from your mistakes, and never regret anything.
I like to believe there is a bigger reason for everything that happens to you in your life, and that if something is meant to be it will be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the CS Project, but I plan on participating by couchsurfing around Spain (while I'm here), and continuing to couchsurf when I leave Spain. I also plan on hosting people when I return to Santa Cruz. Right now I can't host anyone because I am living with a host family in Spain, but I am always interested in meeting new people and showing people around if you want to see Córdoba!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any CouchSurfing experiences yet, but I have friends who have couchsurfed before and told me it was a great experience!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say going to Morocco was one of the most amazing experiences in my life. I was able to talk to the most wonderful, welcoming, heartfelt people I have ever met, even though with some people few words were exchanged because of the language barrier. Even so, I was able to learn so much about a society so different from my own, which was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

i am new to CS, but what I do know is friendships and human connections are the best reasons for living a fruitful life. The idea of CS is incredible because building communities and friendships are so vital. I hope to learn more through this experience about other people's opinions, hopes, and fears. I hope to learn new lessons from people all around the world.
