ABOUT ME

I am from Maine and in 2014 finished traveling the USA by car. I stayed with family up until Chicago and after that traveled with Ephraim, a German. We couchsurfed some but mostly camped out in the great wild near hot springs and in the car. It was fantastic.

In March 2015 I departed the USA for a long adventure in Ecuador. I started by flying into Guayaquil, taking the coastal route to Montanita, and studying at Montanita Spanish School for April. Afterwards I checked out the Andes mountains and some Amazon. I got to check out several hot springs in Ecuador as well. What views from the green Andes!

Lived in Sweden in the second part of 2015.

Now I'm in Los Angeles. Ask me about music, nightlife, underground, punks, queers, freaks and fun. Normies beware, you're in for a scare.

*I am not a devotee of any religious tradition though many are greatly interesting to me.

PHILOSOPHY

An imam and a man walked down a road together discussing the trivialities and trials of life. Another man with a cart came speeding down the road and knocked the man and imam over into a ditch as he passed covering them with mud. The imam stood up and yelled at the man as he rode away, "May all of your hopes and dreams come true!" The man accompanying him asked why he would say such a thing. To which the imam replied, "If you had everything you hoped and dreamed would you act like that?"

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a studio in the center of Los Angeles. I am at a busy intersection with lots of buses. There isn't much parking. I do not drive and am not familiar with the parking situation other than it is tough.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in two different US cities with a travel buddy and once alone in a smaller town. In Ecuador I stayed one night on a yoga commune in the rainforest with Harikrishnas and shucked cacao and cooked vegetarian food.
