About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoying life!

ABOUT ME

I'm a 24-year-old girl from Germany. I grew up in the South of Germany (Pforzheim, Baden-Württemberg) but right now I live in Essen, which is in the West of Germany, where I study since almost 3 years. I really enjoy my time at university because life is still quite easy and you can meet people from all over the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Well I don't really have a philosophy. I try to always be open towards new people and experiences and just enjoy life as best as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Vienna, Krakow and Copenhagen together with Jeanne Baur https://www.couchsurfing.org/people/je_anne/

Interests

I like travelling (of course), hanging out with friends, going to concerts/festivals, reading, dancing or just relaxing in the sun.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are many great movies, but I think the Lord of Rings trilogy is something I could watch a thousand times.
I like all kinds of music ranging from pop, hip hop to electro to rock/metal. The only thing I incredibly hate is German Schlager.
Books.. there are too many to mention them all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In summer 2008 me and my friends were in Barcelona and I had the very best Mojito ever. It was a tiny little bar near the Ramblas run by one single man. Enjoying this amazing cocktail together with my friends at the sea is something I will always remember. I think it's always the little things that make your trip unique.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some German, especially the Swabian dialect which sounds extremly akward :), and other typical German customs. And since my last couchsurfing experience in Copenhagen I know how to make Spätzle, probably the best food German people ever created.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States
