Staying in the south of Mexico for a few months, making music, meeting new folks, Flowing, being in the moment, being mindful, invest my energy and time in collectively good causes. Being at peace.

ABOUT ME

I try to experience every second in life, try to be aware of the present, not judge, and explore all that is unknown to me, which is a lot. I taught college and high school mathematics for a while, I do and love capoeira, I write and record music that moves and inspires, I create community, and love riding bikes with the homies. Enjoy all kids of foods (don't know any food I don't like), good beer, board games, great music, good open minded folks.

PHILOSOPHY

Be in the moment, accept yourself, love yourself so that you may love others.
There is so much to know and experience in this lifetime, its overwhelming.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed in Villahermosa, Mexico, in Tuxtla Gutierrez, Mexico, and in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. It was great and I met some amazing people.

兴趣

Capoeira, music (writing, recording, playing), languages, traveling, volunteering, knowledge. Films, discovering new music; walking alone in the city; finding little stores; eating good food (not necessarily expensive, just made with care); playing music (guitar, bass, drums, keys).

Films: I really enjoy films ... and shitty movies. Too many to list: almost famous, amelie, motorcycle diaries, babel, amores perros, vanilla sky, lotr, star wars, dreamers, pulp fiction, royal tenenbaums, snatch, etc.
Books: Siddartha, the universe story, half the sky, the ethical slut, i ching, the end of money and the future of civilization, the denial of death, ...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Climbed the beautiful Mount Kenya with a group of friends, was a truly wonderful experience.
Walked a big chunk of the camino de Santiago along the north of Spain for about a month with my two flatmates, unforgettable.

I can show one about math, music theory, popular songs, capoeira, some acrobatics, things about UI aesthetics. I love learning about science, history, how things work, new ideas, music, evolution, psychology, ...

I can share the couches, a camping mat and my sleeping bag, the kitchen, maybe I'll cook some breakfast for you, I can take you around town if I have the time, or you can borrow the bike and go around yourself. If there's a gathering or party be sure to be invited to it so you can meet the lovely people of Oakland.
