About Me

Hi everyone!
I’m a positive, optimistic, and open-minded person who loves traveling, hiking, and cycling. I’m punctual, enjoy sharing experiences, and I’m always eager to learn something new.

I’m deeply inspired by magnificent views—whether it’s natural landscapes like mountains, seas, or rivers, or human-made beauty such as castles, historical buildings, or modern cities. And the best is when it’s all combined 😊.
One of the most important parts of travel for me is meeting locals and learning about their culture and way of life.

I enjoy active rest—walking, hiking, or cycling—rather than just lying on a sofa. Especially when I'm abroad, I spend most of the day outside exploring. I usually leave the accommodation around 8:00 AM and come back around 9:00 PM, or earlier depending on the host’s rules (especially when Couchsurfing).

Couchsurfing is a wonderful and easy way to meet locals. I believe everyone has something valuable to share, and every person we meet can bring something new into our lives. That’s why I love the idea of sharing and learning through this platform.

On weekends, holidays, and vacations, I prefer to spend time in a meaningful and memorable way. Life is too short—that’s why I always try to enjoy every moment and make the most of it! 😊

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After the pandemic, we’re all planning to travel again. That’s why I try to take advantage of Couchsurfing opportunities and be supportive to others whenever I can.

At first, even though this project and its format aligned closely with my worldview and spirit, I couldn’t fully grasp how it worked. The system isn’t just about staying in, or hosting a stranger’s home for free; trust, safety, and other crucial factors play a major role. As I experienced it myself, it really amazed me to see just how many generous, kind-hearted people exist in the world, regardless of their country or faith. I’ve heard that some have had negative experiences, but I sincerely hope such instances remain rare and that we all continue to meet kind individuals wherever our journeys take us.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy many kinds of music, including pop, rock (mostly soft, but sometimes hard 😏), ballads, classical, country, blues, electro, reggae, and more. It’s really enjoyable to listen to artists like André Rieu, 2Cellos etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While hiking through the mountains near Shamakhi, Azerbaijan, I carried my 2-year-old son all the way to the top. There, next to a centuries-old castle from the 15th or 16th century, I tore off my t-shirt and tied it around my shoes to prevent slipping during the steep way down. One of those unforgettable, wild parenting moments.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy planning and creative thinking. I’m also a good listener, and I’d be happy to share what I know — whether it’s fishing, cycling, or other skills I’ve picked up along the way.
