Hello, my name is Eloisa Palacios and in facebook you can find me as Elo palacios :), I`m 31 years old and I live in Hermosillo, Mexico (5 hours away from Tucson, Arizona). I`m an English, Spanish and German teacher :) though I studied Hispanic Literature in College :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel and meet new people :). In fact in June I`ll be a whole month in Germany (from May 31st to June 26th) and I want to try Couchsurfing to find a place to stay and also meet new people :-), sadly I can`t receive people right now because I live with my dad and we have full house! ;-D But I can offer to show you around my state and buy you a coffee ;-), in the future I`ll be able to receive people God willing :).

Interests

I love to read and learn new languages :), I also like to write :) short stories :). I love animals too, I have two dogs that are like my daughters :-D

I also love teaching :) creating new materials and strategies to teach to my students :) I like to go out as well and see new places. I like board games too :)

Favorite Book: die Unendliche Geschichte by Michael Ende.

Music: I like electronic, pop but my favorite is heavy metal.

Movies: I dont have an specific one but one movie I consider awesome is The Color Purple :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 16 I traveled to the USA, to Wisconsin, to meet a friend I met online!!! we both were fans of the christian band Petra :-) through that I met a lot of wonderful people :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Right now I want to learn more German and learn more about the German culture. In English I`m a C2 but in German I`m still a B2 and in June I`ll be attending a course called "German for teachers" at Goethe Institut in Dresden :), it lasts two weeks but I will stay two more and that`s when I want to see if I can meet new people through couchsurfing :) but honestly I`m like a sponge, I absorb everything and I love to learn anything that is new!

About teaching and sharing, I would love to teach you about my culture :) and about Literature :) since I love to read :)
