About Me
Hi there!
I'm Elodie, 31, french living in South of France, in Provence more specifically. Yeah you know, those pictures with olives trees and lavender fields everywhere, little town with old stone churches and people playing petanque and drinking pastis with the sound of the singing cigalas in summer? Yeah right here!
I run a little vegetarian restaurant with my family in a city called Arles. And even if i love my town and my little life here, i think i love even more leaving my confort to travel the world!
I'm lucky i have travelled a bit already in my life, but always with family, friends or/and love partner. I've always dreamed of travelling alone, but it was never the right time to do so (excuses excuses haha!) But today, maturity and self confidence finally knocked at my door and i'm ready to go on new advantures by my own!
If you will accept to host me in the future, you have to know that I'm very easy going and quiet. I will always respect your rules and your tranquility, and i can adapt easily.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am planning my 1st trip alone in Iceland, and i thought it would be great to meet someone local as soon as i arrive, to get good tips, advices, someone to talk to me about the country, and someone to share a good moment with!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2014 in south Thailand, on the island of Koh Tao, i did a couple of days snorkelling without seing anything very exciting, i was a bit sad. Few days later i go to a beach on the island, Ao Leuk if i remember good. I was chilling on the sea with friends and travellers i met in there. One of the person had a mask, and after i told him my disapointment with snorkeling, he gave it to me and said "look at your feet"! And i saw some baby sharks with the top of the aisle black! Maybe 10-15 of them, i could swim among them for a while, it was magic!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some french cooking (traditionnal or vegetarian), some french speaking too, people say it's difficult but you can learn some easy words :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to spend a day or a night out with my host, to discover the city, to have a drink in town, to learn the history of the country, and why not to create a friendship, and welcome my host back in France later!
