ABOUT ME

I'm a French smiling & sporting woman loving discover new cultures through travels and discussion. I grew in Chamonix (French Alps), a famous town for skiing and I practiced ski in competition during 12 years.

When I was not on my ski I hiked, run in the mountain, climbed, practiced yoga...or even did surf during the summer holiday. Sport spirit and values bring and learnt me a lot in my personal and professional life and it’s like a balance for me.

Moreover, I had the good luck to travel a lot when I was younger thanks to my parents (and it’s still the case but on myself!) and trips all around the world gave me an other vision of life and relationships between 2 or more populations which have not the same identity, habits, way of thinking... I also really attached to my friends and family and I really enjoy spending time with them, especially around a good meal that I prepared (I really love cooking!)

I'm studying Marketing and Management in a Business School and I'm now finishing my last year of school by doing a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship & Innovation.

PHILOSOPHY

"Great things take time" could be one of the philosophy that I really share. I also tried to see good sides in every situation even if it is not a good one!

If you had read my profile and as you had probably understood, outdoor sport are really a part of my life. I think that doing outdoor sport (nature connection) really helps people to feel less anxious and gives a lots of energy to your body. I wake up every morning with a big smile and I tried to enjoy every little thinks in life. I also share my life with an amazing boyfriend and I think love is really powerful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had travel thanks to Couchsurfing for the first time in 2013, during my road trip on the United State West Coast. With 6 of my friends, we traveled together and it was not so easy to find host for so many people.

One of my best memories was in Sedona (USA). I did an amazing meeting with Rob, 65 years old, a Couchsurfing host. He welcomed 7 of us so kindly. We spent 2 days at Rob's place and we discussed a lot with him. He told us that at the beginning, he was quite "afraid" to welcome 7 young backpackers but that it was an amazing experience and that he would love to do it again. It was one of his first hosting experience and he never welcomed so many people at the same time. He spent lots of his time to show us beautiful places in the area and I was really moved by his kindness and generosity. I felt quite sad when we had to move to continue our travel and I told to myself that Couchsurfing was (and still BE!) an awesome way to share passion, knowledge, experiences...

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach & Share:
I think I'm a good cook teacher and I can share my French Culture thanks to this knowledge. It's always really cool to discover a country through its specialities. I also can discuss and bring knowledge about sport. My studies gave me the opportunity to have a specific knowledge on how launch a company. I don't have all the keys but I know how to use some really useful tools! I also can give some tips about French language!

Learn:
I'm a really curious person and I'm interest by learning any kind of knowledge. I mean that even if I don't know anything about a domain I will be happy to discover new things. Moreover, I really want to improve my english and my spanish through travels and discussed with native people is a really good exercise.
