I am 19 year-old student from a town near Barcelona, Catalonia. I really like music and I play several instruments. I also have a passion for languages and learning new ones. I've travelled to different countries and now I'm about to go on an Erasmus programme to Glasgow with my friend Héctor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend Héctor and I are looking for a place to stay in Glasgow. We will be there from September 1st to December 23rd or so and we haven't found a place to stay so far. If we can find a place here for the whole stay, perfect, if not, we are just happy with a few days so we can look for a flat while in the city and move there.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music groups are Catalan ones like La Gossa Sorda, Obrint Pas or Manel, although I also like music in English like fun or Simon and Garfunkel, to name a few. Two movies I really like are Whiplash and Fantastic Mr. Fox, but I love all kinds of genres. Regarding books, I normally read about linguistics, but I've liked some novels too. An author that I love is Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchet is up there too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Italy for a couple of weeks last September to work on a farm in the mountains by myself and it was a great experience. I made some great friends and learnt a lot of things too. I'd definetely repeat an experience like that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are eager to learn a lot about their city, Glasgow, and Scotland in general. We are sociable, we like to go out and do all kinds of stuff, but we are also very responsible. I can also offer my cooking, and I make a delicious paella.
