I'm french, born and raised in Lille but currently living in Madagascar.
I'm a joyful and friendly person (or at least I think I am until now nobody seemd to disagree, finger crossed).

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Like everyone else around here I love to travel and meet other human beings around the world. I spent a year in Canada hosting. Living in a 3 students' appartements building, we loved to have people around and host couchsurfers.
I think this website is one of the most genious invention of our time because thanks to it you can meet people that you wouldn't have otherwise and that is pretty awsome.
I'm curious about everything and there is no better way to discover a new place than to meet its inhabitants !

兴趣

If I had to choose 3 words to talk about what I love it would be :
- "culture". I am a big fan of all kinds of festivals, music in Belgium, Theatre in France, street Art in Canada. From Detroit to Dakar I love to get lost in translation.
- "nature", hiking, canoeing, mountains, beaches, snow, sand... All kind really !
- "nourriture" i.e. food in French. Because travels wouldn't be the same if you couldn't try local specialities ! Because I love to cook and I would be happy to prepare a meal for you. And because this is also what I do. Agroecology and local food systems around the world are my fields' work.

Music. All kinds of it really ! Rock, jazz, electro, rap, reggae, ska, cumbia, kitch indian bollywood music... All of it as long as it sounds good !
Same for books and movies.
Last movie I loved watching was La Grande Belezza, a colorful taste of Rome and its parties.
For books, since I discovered Alice Munroe I can't stop reading her novels !
