Hello, I'm Eloise. I am 24 and live in Adelaide, South Australia.
I love travelling, reading, summer, sustainability and creating art.
I love finding ways to live a more waste-free life and am very excited to have a job which ties in perfectly with this passion. I work for an organisation which offers educational programs about recycling, waste management and sustainability.
I am studying ceramics - I think I've decided that it's my favourite artistic discipline... I also like drawing but I love the idea that ceramic pieces can exist simultaneously as functional objects and works of art.
I also upcycle clothing and make new things out of repurposed fabrics and materials.
At home I spend a lot of time in the garden - we have lots of veggie beds and fruit trees. We also have three teenage chickens who have finally moved out of the loungeroom and into their own hen-house.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people when I am travelling. Getting in touch with the locals is always the best way to experience foreign places. I have found that travel is often more about the people than it is about the places.

I am vegetarian and enjoy making and eating good food (especially from dumpster dived goodies!).
