Overview
About Me
It's really difficult to sum myself up in a box like this. I'm shy at first but once I get comfortable with someone I'm outgoing and crazy. I love children and a good conversation. I constantly want to be learning and have at least three languages on my to learn list (French, Spanish, Italian). My family is my world and I would do anything for those that fall into that category. I love to travel and feel most at home by water (be it river, pond, ocean, or lake). I cannot keep a secret about myself at all but a secret that someone else tells me about them is safe with me until death. I do not enjoy partying or getting drunk but a cup of coffee or a glass of white wine and a conversation sounds like a wonderful evening to me.
PHILOSOPHY
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." -Jeremiah 29:11

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent 4000 miles away from home in a country where they speak my second language for a year. I moved there with no friends to au pair three little girls and live with a family I had never met before I arrived and no guarantee that it would work out. Luckily, it worked out perfectly.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm full of tons of random knowledge so in the course of a five minute conversation with me you'll probably learn something completely off the wall. I was an education major for 5 out of 8 semesters of my undergraduate career so I do enjoy teaching but I don't handle a formal classroom well. I'd love to learn whatever you have to teach me as well!
