I grew up in both the far north of Canada, and in a National Park-one of the most touristy places in Canada!

Sarah grew up in a small town north of Toronto, Canada. She has lived all over Canada (Halifax, Toronto, Banff) and also spent a year in Australia.

Sarah and I are travelling together for a month. Meeting new people is one of our favourite hobbies.

I am super spontaneous and enthusiastic and enjoy diving headfirst into activities (especially when I can get introduced to a new one).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I spent close to a year traveling Asia in hostels. For the first few months I wanted to meet, and be inspired by, worldly travelers, and get to know as many people as possible through hostelling. As my trip continued, I slowed down and started meeting more locals and limiting my hostel stays as much as possible.
This particular time I am looking to couchsurf in the south of Spain, mostly because we would love to learn the language. (I also really need to learn how to dance). If I stay at hostels, no doubt I will meet some amazing people but I will also not be able to work on my language skills as much as I would like to.

Music, Movies, and Books

I go through phases with music, and have loved everything at one time or another. Currently I am into bluegrass and folk.
Have not seen very many movies, but Shawshank Redemption has been at the top of my list for years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time I was skiing in knee deep powder and hit a jump and got like.... 1/2 an inch of air. so gnar.

Not sure about the amazing thing, I think maybe once we meet we can share stories and decide what we find amazing about each other.

I am definitely a knowledge sponge- anything I do not know I would love to learn. I'm pretty gullible, so you can impress me easily.
I love sharing about myself, like I said I talk a lot.
Not too sure what I can teach, English is pretty solid as I am a native speaker.
