ABOUT ME

I still have the feeling I have to discover everything...
There is a saying stating that you're old when you stop learning... If this is true, I must be very young!

I lived in Japan when I was a teenager, and even if sometimes it was hard (far away from my family, cultural differencies to deal with, language misunderstadings...), I loved it.
In fact, I am a Japanese culture lover, but I'm not restricited to this one (nor to my own culture)!
I always love discovering!

I studied Ethnology (and I really enjoyed it), but did not found a job in this field.

I used to be a Red Cross volunteer for few years.
And I still believe that anyone can indeed contribute to make this world a better place for every one.

I'm a Kendô lover, even if i'm a beginner and have no endurance. I'm just addicted to Kendô...

Also, and although I do not consider this is "defining" me, I'm a gothic one, though my style is quite soft and simple.

PHILOSOPHY

Not only avoid doing to others want you would dislike them doing to you, but also try to do to others what you would like them to do for you...

And "Don't dream it, be it!"

兴趣

I love reading, embroidery, listening to music,video games , travels...
I also used to be a role-palying gamer, but I do play only very occasionally by now.
I also write a little, sometimes, mostely poetry.

And I love Kendô. I just hope one day I will be a good enough kenshi at least to be allowed to lose in competions (winning is also an option, of course, one day...)

An other interest, which motivated me registering here; meeting people from other cultures, mainly for the pleasure of exchange, discoveries, and thus personal improvement.

Any kind of movies (except gore movies, even if I like horror ones), with preference for fantasy and comedies.

Concerning music, I'm listening mainly gothic music (dark wave, deathrock, gothic rock...), but also classical music (european and asian)...

I also looove reading. Almost any kind of books. Novels of any kind, history, about civilizations, mangas...
