HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've opened up my cozy little piece of real estate in Charlottesville, and I'm interested in meeting others and teaching my kids that people are often generous and wonderful, as I travel with my boys.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never - cross my fingers I won't have to change this answer - paid to stay in a hotel room all to my own. I make my trips to visit people, not places. And I stay with people along the way. People are great! I recently got my own place largely so I could host anyone anytime, and I've done so without using any official channels such as this one. So my official CS experience is minimal, but I've done a lot of unofficial couchsurfing and hosting over the years
